Our Shepherd's Huts

Our Shepherd's Huts are located on the edge of our newly planted woodland, on our hill sheep farm, with views looking down in to the dales of the River Dove near the beautiful riverside hamlet of Milldale, where years ago sheep were washed in the Dove  near the cobbled stones of Viators bridge.

Sunset Over Lily Hut

While away the evening sitting on the veranda with a glass of wine watching the sunset disappear behind the hills and dale or sip your morning tea and see the wildlife and farm animals come awake. Glimpse sight of the Buzzard and hares or find our resident little owl camouflaged by the dry limestone walls.

 Double bed in Lily

The huts are warm and cosy with their own small wood burning stove, perfect for those cooler days and evenings. They have a built in double bed with luxury mattress and linen, with ample storage space underneath. The toilets and shower are just a short stroll away from the shepherd's huts, through the apple orchard into the old dairy. The shepherds huts can sleep up to two people on either a self-catered basis or with a choice of breakfast hampers delivered to your door.
